Fast Axis Collimator (FAC-Lens) is a compact optical lens designed for collimating spreading light beams from a Diode Laser along the fast axis. The FAC lens collimates the diverging light from the laser diode into a concentrated narrow linewidth, effectively stabilizing the spectrum of the laser output. Our fast axis collimators feature an aspheric surface and a high numerical aperture to effectively compensate for the large divergence angle of the laser diode in the fast-axis direction, achieving high beam quality and uniform collimation.
Hangzhou Shalom offers a custom Fast Axis Collimator (FAC) lens of high-precision fabrication and with AR Coatings, the collimators are of the aspheric micro-cylindrical form, with minimized smiles and side-lobes, ensuring efficient utilization of the diverging light.
