Gray track resistance in HGTR KTP (KTiOPO4) Crystals is significantly higher than in flux-produced KTP. In comparison to ordinary KTP crystals which are flux or hydrothermally grown, HGTR KTP crystals are grown from unique modified fluxes and heat treatment, imparting them with immunity to gray track damage, which could be seriously interrupting for high power applications.
