Lithium Iodate (LilO3) Crystal is a uniaxial nonlinear crystal with high nonlinear coefficients and a wide optical transparent range of 0.5μm to 5.0μm. It is extensively applied for the SHG of the low and medium power Ti:Sapphire, Alexandrite, Cr:LiSrAlF6 and Cr:LiCaAlF6 lasers. It is also preferable for the SHG and THG of Nd:YAG lasers and auto-correlators for measuring ultra-short pulse width. In some cases, it is operated for optical parametric oscillation to obtain continuously tunable lasers at the wavelength range from 0.9μm to 1.2μm. Besides the nonlinear properties, the crystal also exhibits multiple features, enabling their usage as EO modulations, piezoelectric transducers, etc. For users, it is worth noting that LiIO3 crystals are highly hygroscopic, Shalom EO suggests a dry operation environment. And the limited damage thresholds of LilO3 crystals restrain their usage for high-power lasers.
Hangzhou Shalom EO offers optical-grade-polished LiIO3 crystals with a surface quality of 10/5 Scratch/Dig. A set of coating options could be tailored for you, including AR, BBAR, and P-coating.
