Yttrium Vanadate (YVO4) crystals, grown using the Czochralski method, are positive uniaxial crystals known for their exceptional mechanical robustness, superior chemical and optical properties, and excellent thermal stability. With a broad transparent range spanning from 400nm to 5000nm and significant birefringence, YVO4 crystals are suitable for manufacturing optical polarizing components. Serving as excellent synthetic substitutes for Calcite (CaCO3) and Rutile (TiO2) in various applications, the crystals find widespread use in fiber optic isolators and circulators, beam displacers, Glan polarizers, and other polarizing optics.
Hangzhou Shalom EO offers various forms and dimensions of YVO4 crystals. We also offer prisms, paired prisms, and polarizers made from YVO4 crystals: including Glan Taylor Polarizers, Glan Laser Polarizers, and Wollaston Polarizers.
