Yttrium Vanadate (YVO4) crystals is grown by Czochralski method and is a positive unaxial crystals, it has good mechanical and physical properties and excellent thermal stability, YVO4 crystals are ideal for optical polarizing components for its wide transparency range (400nm to 5000nm) and large birefringence. YVO4 crystals are an excellent synthetic substitute for Calcite (CaCO3) and Rutile (TiO2) in many applications, they are widely used in fiber optic isolators and circulators, beam displacers, Glan polarizers and other polarizing optics.
