TeO2 (Tellurium Dioxide) is an excellent acousto-optic (AO) crystal with high AO figure of merit, birefringence, good optical rotation and slow propagation velocity along [110] direction. The resolution of AO devices made of TeO2 crystals will increase several levels than others. It is an ideal crystals for applications of AOM (acousto-optic modulators), AOD (acousto-optic deflectors), AOTF (acousto-optic tunable filters), laser Q-switches and RF spectrum analyzers ect. TeO2 crystals can be used in the field of astronomy, laser publishing, laser recorder and so on.

Acousto-optic modulator (AOM) is applied in production of  Q switching in solid-state laser, cavity dumping of solid-state laser, pulse picker ,laser printer and other devices. Acousto-optic deflector(AOD) is applied in production of scanner, laser tweezer, RGB systems for laser projectors, laser scanning microscopy and profilometry. Acousto-optic filter(AOTF)  is applied in production of Rapid-scan Spectrometer, Multispectral Imaging, Fiber Optic Communication,  Spectropolarimeter and fluorescence spectrometer.
