VIS-NIR ND Filters (350-1100nm) Product List

A Neutral Density FilterNeutral Density Filters, also known as ND Filters, are a kind of optical filter that transmit all wavelengths of entering light with even attenuation. This attenuation is achieved through absorption, reflection, or a combination of both. ND filters offer precise control over light intensities without altering their spectral characteristics, which renders them useful in industrial imaging, machine vision, spectroscopes, lasers, etc., where overexposure of light is harmful to camera sensors or other optical components, or when excessive light will cause inaccurate results in photometers. ND Filters are also critical components to maintain precise outcomes in photometers through the rejection of excessive light.

This page highlights Shalom EO's standard  VIS-NIR (350-1100nm) Neutral Density Filters, we provide multiple options of transmission rates from 0.1% to 80%, and the ND filter substrates could be made from various materials including K9, B270, SCHOTT D263T, Borofloat, Quartz. While custom VIS-NIR (350-1100nm) ND filters made of BK7 or colored glass substrates are also available.
