Wafers and Substrates
The lithium niobate crystals (LiNbO3) have stable physical and chemical properties, are easy to process.Lithium niobate crystals have a wide light transmission range (0.3 - 5 μm), and it is easy to prepare high-quality optical waveguides, surface acoustic wave filters, optical modulators, phase modulators, optical isolators, electro-optic Q-switches based on lithium niobate crystals. Lithium niobate optoelectronic devices such as switches have been widely studied and practically applied in the fields of electronic technology, optical communication technology, and laser technology. Recently, with the breakthrough progress of the fifth-generation wireless communication (5G), micro-nano photonics, integrated photonics, and quantum optics, lithium niobate crystals have once again attracted widespread attention.
Lithium tantalate Cryal (LiTaO3) has excellent electro-optical, piezoelectric, electrical and pyroelectric properties, with a pyroelectric coefficient of 2.3×10-7 C/cm2/K. Use the pulling method to grow. It is used as a Q-switch in laser technology, as a pyroelectric detector in infrared technology, and as a filter and resonator in the electronics industry.
Hangzhou Shalom EO offers the custom and stocked optical grade and SAW grade LiNbO3 and LiTaO3 wafers and substrates, advanced facilities are equipped for crystals growing, wafer cutting, lapping, polishing and checking under control of ISO9001 managing system.
