Barium fluoride (BaF2) is a scintillator showing two wavelengths of emission peak at 310 nm and 295 nm. The emission at 220nm has a sub-nanosecond decay time, which is valuable for timing applications. It is the fast timing for Positron Lifetime Studies, Time of Flight measurements, Positron Emission Tomography (PET), and Certain High-energy Physics Applications.
Hangzhou Shalom EO offers customized BaF2 scintillators upon customer's request; the largest size available is up to φ120mm x 200mm.
