NOA61 Cemented Zero Order Waveplates

For applications requiring higher wavelength and temperature stability, zero order waveplate is a preferable candidate. Zero order waveplates with epoxy cemented design feature that the two quartz plates are cemented by UV epoxy (the epoxy is cured by eposure to ultra-violet light), which is a high performance adhesive with great bonding strength, high heat and bonding resistance to support optical applications under various operation conditions, and Shalom EO only applky the adhesive outside the clear aperture of the waveplates. The most widely used waveplates are half waveplates and quarter waveplates. The difference between half waveplates and quarter waveplates lies in the phase retardance. While half waveplates, offering retardance of λ/2, could rotate the polarizetion plane of linearly polarized light, quarter waveplates offering retardance of λ/4 are used to transform linearly polarized light into circularly polarized light and vice versa. Hangzhou shalom EO provides zero order half waveplates and zero order quarter wave plates of UV epoxy cemeted structure with cost-effective price and fast delivery. Two types of waveplates made from Quartz (wavelength range 200-2000nm), or Magnesium Fluoride (MgF2) (Wavelength range 190-7000nm) are available in customized versions.
