The thin flat scintillation crystals can be used as the scintillation screens directly, which has an extrodinary high spacial resolutions. Scintillation screens are widely used in the detection of proton beams, electron beams, low energy X-rays (or soft X-rays), UV light, VUV and XUV radiations. Hangzhou Shalom EO provides a variety of the scintillation screen made from scintillation crystals: LuAG(Ce), YAG(Ce) and YAP(Ce), GAGG(Ce), LYSO(Ce) ect, in order to get a thin screen down to 10 or 20 micro, a fused silica or optical glass substrate or metal holder would be bonded or installed to the scintillation screens when the thickness is less than 50 micro. Aluminium coating are available upon customer’s request.
GAGG(Ce) - Gadolinium Aluminium Gallium Garnet (Gd₃Al₂Ga₃O₁₂), doped with Ce is a newly developed scintillator. It is one of the brightest available scintillators with an emission peak at 520nm. GAGG(Ce) has good stopping power, is physically rugged and well suited to a broad range of applications. GAGG(Ce) has best light output in all series of oxide crystal. Besides, it has good energy resolution, High density, non-selfradiation, Non- hygroscopic. It's widely used in ToF-PET, PEM, SPECT, CT , X-ray &Gamma ray detection.
