Chromium Doped Yttrium Aluminum Garnet (Cr4+:YAG) Crystal is an excellent E-O material for passive Q-switching diode pumped or lamp-pumped Nd:YAG, Nd:YLF, Nd:YVO4 and other Nd (or Yb) doped lasers at 0.8~1.2µm. With the advantages of chemical stability, durability, UV resistance, good thermal conductivity, high damage threshold (>500 MW/cm2), and easy operation, Cr4+:YAG is edging out traditional materials, such as LiF, organic Dye, and color centers. Cr:YAG is simple to use and does not need any external driving component, which makes it advantageous for compact construction. Cr:YAG crystals operate well at the repetition rate up to 10kHz. 

Hangzhou Shalom EO offers high-precision polished Cr:YAG crystals with a maximum aperture of 14x14mm, a maximum length of 12mm, and a broad initial transmission range of 5% to 95%. Both stocked and custom crystals are available.
